Barn Tales was founded in 2021 by Abigail Kemp, a drama educator with over
15 years experience working in schools and theatre with young people big and
small.

Creative play and opportunities to explore the imagination are vital for children
(and their adults!) I wanted to create an imaginary place full of stories and
adventures where everyday objects and occurrences become things of wonder”.

Welcome to the world of Barn Tales, creative online storytelling sessions for 1 –
3-year-olds. Each week we join Barn Mouse on an adventure as he discovers
the world around him – and gets into mischief! Luckily, his friend the Brown Owl
is on hand to help put things right again!

Barn Tales workshops are interactive and designed to encourage creative play,
curiosity, movement and stimulate young imaginations. Each workshop has an
original storyline and is brought to life with puppetry, props and music. Age
appropriate themes are incorporated within the stories and may include the
seasons, weather, animals, nature, emotions, colours, counting and many
more.

Sessions currently run on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings via
Zoom. Check the “Stories” tab for dates, times and workshop information.

Duration: 35 minutes.
